According to the latest update shared by film industry tracker AB George on X (formerly Twitter), Thudarum is moving close to a worldwide gross collection of ₹70 crore over its opening three-day weekend. The film is currently on track to record the second biggest opening weekend collection after Empuraan, with just a standard three-day weekend.

Thudarum Synopsis

Set in the quiet hill town of Perunad, Thudarum follows Shanmugham, a taxi driver whose peaceful life unravels after a personal tragedy involving his beloved vintage car and the local police. What begins as a family drama soon spirals into a gripping tale of injustice, betrayal, and retribution, as Shanmugham confronts a corrupt system to seek the truth.

Mohanlal plays Shanmugham aka Benz, with Shobana as Shanmugham's wife Lalitha, . Prakash Varma appears as CI George Mathan, while Binu Pappu portrays SI Benny C Kurian. Thomas Mathew plays Shanmugham's son Pavi. Amritha Varshini appears as Shanmugham's daughter. Farhaan Faasil plays CPO Sudheesh, and Maniyanpilla Raju and Irshad feature as Shanmugham's friends, Kuttychan and Shaji respectively. Aarsha Chandini Baiju portrays Mary, George's daughter, and Krishna Prabha plays Seema, Lalitha's younger sister. Aravind, Sangeeth Prathap, Abin Bino, and Shobi Thilakan are also part of the cast. The music and original background score were composed by Jakes Bejoy, with audiography by Vishnu Govind. Avantika Renjith served as the executive producer, and Dixon Poduthas took charge as the production controller.
