Unni Mukundan's Manager Files Complaint Against Marco Actor For 'Beating' Him Up

According to Asianet, a police complaint has been filed against Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan at the Infopark Police station in Kochi on Monday night (May 26). The complaint took place after the actor's manager Vipin Kumar accused him of allegedly beating him up for praising Tovino Thomas' latest release 'Narivetta'.

In his complaint, Vipin alleged that Unni Mukundan came to his flat in Kakkanad and called him to the parking area, where the assault took place, on Monday morning, and beat him up. The manager also stated that Mukundan had used abusive language while assaulting him. As claimed by Vipin, the assault happened after he had shared the poster of Tovino Thomas starrer Narivetta and praised the film on social media.

According to Times Now, the police have registered a case against Unni Mukundan and will verify the statements. Vipin also claimed that Unni Mukundan was yet to get any new film offer after 'Marco' and was getting out his frustrations.

When Unni Mukundan Was Accused Of S*xual Harassment In 2018

Back in 2018, Unni Mukundan faced s*xual harassment allegations after the woman accused him of 'molesting' her allegedly during a meeting at his residence in Edappally under the pretext of discussing a film project. Later in 2023, the Kerala High Court dismissed the case after the complainant claimed that the issue had been resolved through a 'settlement'.
