Who Is Shine Tom Chacko? Malayalam Actor Accused Of Using Drugs On Set & Misbehaving With Female Co-star

Shine Tom Chacko Under Legal Trouble By Vincy Aloshious: Malayalam actor, who is currently seen in Mammootty starrer Bazooka, has been making headlines on Thursday after his co-star from Soothravakyam film set accused the actor of misbehaving with her. Not only just that, but Vincy has also accused the actor of being under the influence of drugs on set. After opening up about the same on an Instagram video days ago without taking the name, Vincy filed formal complaint to the multiple Malayalam film industry organizations including Film Chamber, the film's Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), and AMMA.

Who Is Shine Tom Chacko?

Shine Tom Chacko is a 42-year-old Malayalam actor from Thrissur, Kerala, and assistant director, who largely worked in Malayalam cinema and including Tamil and Telugu industry. He made his acting debut with Gaddama and becoming a known face after playing significant roles in Ee Adutha Kaalathu, Chapters, Annayum Rasoolum, Masala Republic, among others. He got his first lead role in Ithihasa in 2014.

Shine rose to fame after he played a negative role in Ishq, later his roles in Bhoomiyile Manohara Swakaryam and Maniyarayile Ashokan garnered major attention from the critics and the audience. Shine made his Tamil debut with Vijay and Pooja Hegde in Beast (2022) and the film became commercially superhit with grossing over Rs. 300 Cr at the box office. He has made his Telugu debut with Nani and Keerthy Suresh in Dasara (2023). He is currently seen in Malayalam movie Bazooka with Malayalam superstar Mammootty, where he played the role of Franco Salvator.

Coming to personal life, Shine was married to Thabeetha Mathew and he has a daughter, named Siyal. According to the reports, Shine is separated from his wife and not in touch with his daughter as well.

Reports further revealed that this is not the first time that the actor's name came in for controversy, earlier in January 2015, Shine was arrested along with four other women from Kochi for allegedly possessing drugs. Later, he was granted bail by High Court of Kerala.
