Athiradi Box Office Collection Day 10: Tovino Thomas And Basil Joseph Film Nears ₹60 Cr Worldwide

Athiradi Box Office Collection: The Malayalam action comedy Athiradi continued its theatrical run with moderate collections during its second weekend. Featuring Tovino Thomas, Basil Joseph, Vineeth Sreenivasan and Riya Shibu in key roles, the film recorded improved numbers on its second Saturday after lower weekday collections.

Athiradi Day 10 Box Office Nears 60 Cr Worldwide

Directed by Arun Anirudhan, the film has now completed ten days in theatres since its release. According to trade tracking platform Sacnilk, Athiradi earned an estimated ₹1.34 crore India net on Day 10 across 849 shows. With this, the film's total India net collection has reached ₹30.44 crore, while the India gross collection stands at ₹35.31 crore.

The film has also maintained steady overseas business. Reports indicate that Athiradi has grossed around ₹23.75 crore internationally so far. Combined with domestic earnings, the film's worldwide gross collection has reached ₹59.06 crore after ten days in theatres.

The Day 10 collections reflected an improvement from the second Friday figures. After earning ₹0.95 crore on Day 9, the film registered a rise on Saturday with ₹1.34 crore. Occupancy also improved from 27 percent on Friday to around 36 percent on Saturday.

The film collected ₹28.15 crore during its first week before entering its second weekend. As of May 24, Day 11 collections are currently in progress, with Sunday performance expected to influence the film's second weekend total.

Written by Paulson Skaria and Arun Anirudhan, Athiradi revolves around Samkutty, a civil engineering student trying to revive his college's banned cultural festival. The situation takes an unexpected turn when the event's chief guest and another guest are kidnapped by a local gangster known as 'Thotta Kuttan,' leading to a chain of chaotic events.
