According to a report published in Sacnilk, Border 2 witnessed a slow start and saw a footfall of 19.70% during the morning shows and managed earn Rs 15 lakhs until 12:30 PM

Interestingly, with an occupancy of 19.70%, Baby Girl has failed to beat Nivin Pauly's 2025 release Sarvam Maya which recorded a footfall of 55.14% in morning shows on its day of release.
Meanwhile, talking about the challenges faced during the shoot, Nivin Pauly, as per a report in OTT Play, stated, "Actually, we need to thank the parents because the baby was only four days old when brought to the film sets. A film set does not have an atmosphere suitable for newborns. There is a chance of catching infections during the initial period. All of us were tense because if something happened to the baby, it would be saddening for all. Fortunately, there were no troubles and they completed the shoot without any problems".
