Balan Box Office Collection Day 4: Malayalam Thriller Approaches ₹18 Crore Worldwide Gross
Balan Box Office Collection Day 4: The Malayalam psychological thriller Balan: The Boy recorded a drop in collections on its fourth day at the box office after benefiting from a stronger opening weekend. Released on June 19, the film continued its theatrical run on Monday and added ₹1.15 crore to its domestic earnings, according to figures reported by box office tracking platform Sacnilk.

With the latest addition, the film's total India net collection has reached ₹8.22 crore, while its India gross stands at approximately ₹9.53 crore after four days in theatres. The film has also maintained a steady presence in overseas markets, helping boost its overall worldwide earnings.
The weekend contributed significantly to the film's early performance. Balan: The Boy opened with a net collection of ₹1.82 crore on its first day before witnessing growth over the next two days. Collections increased to ₹2.35 crore on Saturday and further rose to ₹2.90 crore on Sunday, making the third day the strongest of its run so far.
As expected, the film saw lower footfalls once the working week began. On Monday, it earned ₹1.15 crore across 1,143 shows. The Malayalam version remained the primary source of revenue, generating ₹1.12 crore from 954 shows. The Tamil and Telugu versions contributed smaller amounts, collecting approximately ₹0.01 crore and ₹0.02 crore respectively.
Occupancy levels also reflected the weekday trend. Overall occupancy stood at 24.7 percent on Day 4. Among the language versions, the Malayalam release recorded the highest audience turnout, while the Tamil and Telugu versions registered comparatively lower occupancy rates.
The film continued to perform in overseas territories as well. It earned an estimated ₹0.70 crore on Day 4, taking its overseas gross collection to around ₹8 crore. When combined with domestic earnings, the movie's worldwide gross collection has climbed to approximately ₹17.53 crore after four days.
With Day 5 collections currently underway on Tuesday, June 23, attention will now shift to whether the film can maintain stability during the weekdays and move closer to the ₹20 crore worldwide milestone before the end of its first week.
