According to the latest update shared by film industry tracker AB George on X, the film's worldwide gross is close to the Rs 14 crore mark after its first three days of release.

Released on June 19, 2026, Balan: The Boy arrived in cinemas as one of the notable Malayalam releases of the month. As Day 4 collections continue on Monday, June 22, industry observers will be watching closely to see whether the film can maintain its momentum during the weekday period.

AB George, who regularly tracks South Indian box office performance, stated in a recent social media post that the movie's worldwide earnings are close to Rs 14 crore after three days. While detailed territory-wise figures have not been disclosed, the update suggests that the film has managed a respectable start during its opening weekend.

Balan: Cast, Crew and Story

Directed by Chidambaram, Balan: The Boy follows a mother and son whose lives have been shaped by love, loss and hidden secrets. When the truth about their past begins to emerge, they are forced to confront old wounds as they search for answers and redemption.

The film features Adhisheshan, Farzana Palathingal and Muhammad Zinaan in key roles. The supporting cast includes Tovino Thomas as Abbas, Jean Paul Lal as Pavithran, Girish A. D. and Beena Antony as Shamna. Dolly June also appears in the film.

The project has been produced by KVN Productions and Thespian Films, with Venkat K. Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn backing the venture. The screenplay has been written by Jithu Madhavan, while cinematography is handled by Shyju Khalid. Music for the film has been composed by Sushin Shyam, with editing by Vivek Harshan.

Behind the scenes, the production team also includes production designer Ajayan Chalissery, costume designer Sapna Kajha Rawther and makeup artist Ronex Xavier. Visual effects have been handled by Eggwhite VFX, while the film's music has been released under the Zee Music Company label.
