Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam Kerala Box Office Collection: Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam, starring Saiju Kurup in the lead, continues its steady theatrical run in Kerala after completing nearly three weeks in cinemas. Released on April 10, 2026, the Malayalam comedy-family thriller entered Day 20 on Wednesday, April 29, maintaining its hold despite competition from other releases, particularly Vaazha 2.

Directed and written by Krishnadas Murali, the film is the sequel to Bharathanatyam, which was released in 2024. The second installment has managed to build consistent footfalls in Kerala and has now emerged as one of the notable Malayalam box office performers of the month.

According to film industry tracker AB George, Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam has grossed an estimated ₹23.25 crore in Kerala by the end of its 19-day run. The film's worldwide gross has also crossed the ₹35 crore mark, placing it comfortably above its reported production budget of around ₹6 crore. Trade circles have classified the film as a commercial success based on its theatrical returns.

AB George also noted that the film's full box office potential may have been affected by strong competition from Vaazha 2, which has been drawing significant audience attention during the same period. Even with the crowded release window, Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam has managed to sustain collections and remain relevant in the Kerala market.

The film blends comedy, family drama, and thriller elements. Its story follows a family's trip to Sreekandapuram to resolve matters related to the late Bharathan Nair's second wife and son. What begins as a personal family matter gradually turns darker when an unresolved issue from Bharathan Nair's past resurfaces. The situation leads to an unexpected crime, forcing the family into a difficult cover-up as they try to protect their future while dealing with growing pressure and secrecy.

Along with Saiju Kurup, the cast includes Suraj Venjaramoodu, Jagadish, Vinay Forrt, Baby Jean, Kalaranjini, Sreeja Ravi, Swathi Das Prabhu, Nandu Pothuval, Abhiram, Sruthy Suresh, Divya M Nair, Jinil Rexa, Jivin Rexa, Nisthar Sait, Santhosh K Nayar, Balachandran Chullikkad, Sreerekha, Salim Hassan, Vijay Babu, and Jibin Gopinath among others.
