Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam Worldwide Box Office Collection: Saiju Kurup's latest Malayalam release Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam has reportedly crossed the ₹40 crore mark at the worldwide box office within 17 days of its theatrical run. The film, which hit cinemas on April 10, 2026, entered Day 18 of release on Monday, April 27.

The update was shared on social media by actor and producer Saiju Kurup. In his post, the actor thanked audiences for their support and confirmed that the film had grossed ₹40 crore globally. He wrote that the film had achieved the milestone in 17 days and mentioned that it had entered its third successful week in theatres.

The post read, "40 Crores in 17 Days" and described the film as continuing its strong run during the third week. The makers also acknowledged audience support while encouraging viewers to continue watching the film in cinemas.

Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam Plot, Cast And Box Office Run In Third Week

Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam is a Malayalam comedy-family thriller and serves as the sequel to Bharathanatyam, which was released in 2024. The second installment continues the story with a darker and more suspense-driven narrative while retaining family drama elements.

The plot follows a family's journey to Sreekandapuram to settle matters related to the late Bharathan Nair's second wife and son. However, the trip takes an unexpected turn when a hidden issue from Bharathan Nair's past resurfaces. What begins as a family matter soon turns into a tense situation involving crime, forcing the family into a difficult cover-up as they try to protect their future. As secrets pile up and pressure increases, they are pushed into making desperate choices.

The film is written and directed by Krishnadas Murali, with Vishnu R Pradeep credited as co-writer. Music and original score have been composed by Electronic Kili, while cinematography is handled by Bablu Aju and editing by Shafeeque V B.
