Blast Kerala Box Office Collection Day 19: Arjun, Abhirami And Preity Mukhundhan's Film Crosses ₹15 Crore
Blast Kerala Box Office Collection: The Tamil action thriller Blast has completed 19 days in theatres and continues to hold a notable position at the Kerala box office, although its latest figures indicate the first clear signs of a slowdown in collections after nearly three weeks of steady performance.

Released on May 28, 2026, the film stars Arjun, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan in key roles and marks the directorial debut of Subash K. Raj. Backed by AGS Entertainment, the movie has managed to attract audiences across several markets, with Kerala emerging as one of its strongest territories outside Tamil Nadu.
According to the latest box office update shared by industry tracker Jerin Georgekutty on June 16, Blast earned approximately ₹20 lakh gross in Kerala on its 19th day. The collection came on the first working Monday of the film's third week, a period that often witnesses a decline in footfalls compared to weekends and holiday stretches. Given that the film has already completed nearly three weeks in theatres and crossed the ₹15 crore mark in Kerala, the decline is broadly in line with the slowdown typically seen on a working weekday. Its cumulative Kerala gross has now reached around ₹15.17 crore after 19 days of theatrical run.
The latest numbers have helped Blast retain its standing among the best-performing non-Malayalam releases in Kerala this year. The film is currently reported to be the second-highest-grossing non-Malayalam title in the state in 2026, trailing only Dhurandhar 2. It has also moved ahead of Karuppu to become the highest-grossing Tamil film released in Kerala this year.
What Is Blast About? Plot, Cast, And Crew
The movie revolves around Rajaram, a karate practitioner leading a modest life with his wife Neelaveni and daughter Nila. Both women are also trained in martial arts. Their routine existence is disrupted when they find themselves targeted by a powerful corporate network led by Varun Dayalan and his feared enforcer Abraham. As threats intensify, the family is forced to rely on their combat skills to protect themselves and confront the forces working against them.
Alongside Arjun, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan, the cast includes John Kokken, Vivek Prasanna, Arjun Chidambaram and Pawan Krishnaa in important roles. The film features music composed by Ravi Basrur, cinematography by Arun Radhakrishnan and editing by Pradeep E. Ragav.
With Day 20 collections currently underway on June 16, trade watchers will be monitoring whether Blast can maintain momentum during the weekdays and continue adding to its already impressive Kerala box office total.
