Police officials have stated that the case is being treated as a suspected suicide at this stage, though the exact reason behind the incident is yet to be confirmed. Further investigation is underway, and statements from family members and those close to her are expected to be recorded.

Chinnu Pappu, whose official name is Reshma K, had built a strong following on social media through her content. Her sudden death comes at a time when concerns around the mental health of digital creators are being widely discussed.

What made her content stand out was her natural style and her distinct Kasaragod Malayalam accent, which helped her connect deeply with viewers from the region. Over time, her relatable approach and regional flavour turned her into a well-known digital creator from Kasaragod.

Her popularity grew steadily, and she went on to build a strong Instagram following of over 200,000 users, earning recognition as a prominent regional social media influencer.

According to a report by Onmanorama, Pappu is survived by her four-year-old son, her parents, and two brothers, one elder and one younger. The report also stated that she had legally separated from her husband just a month before her death. After the divorce, Pappu had shifted to a rented house along with her son.

Those close to her revealed that the divorce had taken an emotional toll on her. However, she made a deliberate attempt to hide her distress from the people around her. The influencer's father told the portal that Pappu often travelled alone for work-related video shoots, while her young son stayed back with her parents.

The same arrangement was in place at the time of the incident. Family members said she remained deeply committed to her work, even as she quietly dealt with personal struggles away from the public eye.
