Dridam OTT Release Date Officially Announced: When And Where To Watch Shane Nigam's Crime Thriller Online

Dridam OTT Release: After making its way to theatres last month, the Malayalam crime thriller Dridam starring Shane Nigam is now gearing up for its digital release. The film, which hit the big screen on May 8, 2026, is directed by Martin Joseph and was presented by E4 Experiments in association with Jeethu Joseph's Bed Time Stories banner.

The crime thriller follows a young police officer at the beginning of his career who receives his first posting in a hill station. What initially appears to be a routine assignment gradually turns into a challenging investigation as a series of criminal incidents come to light. As the mystery surrounding the cases deepens, the officer finds himself pursuing answers while confronting obstacles that test his resolve and commitment to the truth.

Written by Jomon John and Linto Devasia, who also handled the screenplay and dialogues, Dridam is built around a police investigation set against the backdrop of a hill town. The story focuses on the officer's efforts to uncover what lies behind a chain of suspicious events while navigating the complexities of his new role.

The project was produced by Mukesh R. Mehta and C. V. Sarathi. Behind the camera, cinematography was handled by P. M. Unnikrishnan, while Vinayakh took charge of editing. The film's music was composed by Sreerag Saji, with production design by Sunil Das. Action sequences were coordinated by Mahesh Mathew, and the sound design was overseen by Rahul Joseph and Seth M. Jacob.

The technical crew also included costume designer Lekha Mohan, make-up artist Ratheesh Vijayan, VFX director Tony Magmyth, and DI colourist Liju Prabhakar. Executive production responsibilities were handled by Katina Jeethu, while Deepak Parameshwaran served as production controller. Publicity designs were created by Ten Point, with marketing managed by Ting.

Dridam OTT Release Date And Platform

The film's streaming plans have now been officially confirmed. JioHotstar Malayalam announced through its social media handles that Dridam will begin streaming on JioHotstar from June 12, 2026. The platform shared the update with the message: "A hunt for justice. A fight for the truth. #Dridam streaming from June 12 on JioHotstar."

With the OTT premiere date now locked in, viewers who missed the film during its theatrical run will soon be able to watch Dridam from home. The crime thriller's digital release is set to bring its investigation-driven story to a wider audience when it arrives on the streaming platform later this month.
