The film brings back several familiar faces from the franchise. Mohanlal reprises his role as Georgekutty, with Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Siddique, Asha Sarath and Murali Gopy also returning to continue their characters' journeys. The sequel marks the third chapter in the Drishyam series following the releases of Drishyam and Drishyam 2.
Written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, Drishyam 3 is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the Aashirvad Cinemas banner. The technical team includes cinematographer Satheesh Kurup, editor Vinayak VS and music composer Anil Johnson.
With the second week now underway, the film's performance over the coming days will determine how quickly it adds to its worldwide total.
