Day 2 (first Friday) alone contributed Rs 11.05cr nationwide, according to the same report. Malayalam again dominated with Rs 9.85cr, followed by Rs 70 lakhs from Telugu screenings, Rs 40 lakhs from Tamil shows and Rs 10 lakhs from Kannada audiences.

Cinema is always a collective effort and nothing which causes harm to the project leaks from the team. Even those who shot the famous scene in the first Drishyam - were Georgekutty walks out of the police station carrying a shovel - did not know it was actually part of the climax twist".
