Drishyam 3 Cast Salary: The Malayalam crime thriller Drishyam 3 opened in cinemas worldwide on May 21. Written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film brings back the central characters from the earlier installments of the popular franchise led by Mohanlal.

Produced by Antony Perumbavoor for Aashirvad Cinemas, the third installment stars Mohanlal alongside Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Murali Gopy, Siddique, and Asha Sharath reprising their roles from the previous films.

As audience discussions around the film continue online, reports regarding the cast's remuneration have also surfaced. While the makers have not officially disclosed salary details, several entertainment reports claim that Mohanlal remains the highest-paid actor in the franchise and charged around Rs 20 crore for the third installment, marking a major increase compared to the earlier films in the series.

The first film in the franchise was released in 2013, followed by the direct-to-OTT release of Drishyam 2 during the pandemic period in 2021. Industry reports have claimed that Mohanlal's remuneration was significantly lower during the initial stages of the franchise and has gradually increased as the series expanded its reach across different markets.

Among the actresses in the film, reports suggest that Ansiba Hassan may have emerged as the highest-paid actress in the third installment. The actress, who reprises the role of Anju, reportedly received around Rs 1 crore for the film. The reported figure has attracted attention as senior actor Meena, who plays Rani George, is believed to have received a comparatively lower remuneration despite being one of the franchise's central faces since the first installment.

Meanwhile, reports have also claimed that Asha Sharath received around Rs 1 crore for reprising her role as Geetha Prabhakar. However, industry discussions suggest that her appearance in the third installment is comparatively limited in terms of screen time when compared to some of the other major characters in the film.

Esther Anil, who reprises the role of Anu in the franchise, has reportedly received around Rs 25 lakh for the third installment. Meanwhile, Siddique is also said to have earned a notable remuneration, with reports claiming the actor was paid around Rs 60 lakh for reprising his role in the film.

The film's trailer, released earlier this month, hinted at a more emotional and consequence-driven chapter in Georgekutty's story. One of the lines from the promo stated that audiences had witnessed his intelligence and strategies before, but not the personal cost behind them.

Apart from directing the film, Jeethu Joseph has also written the screenplay. The technical crew includes cinematographer Satheesh Kurup, editor Vinayak VS, and music composer Anil Johnson.
