Drishyam 3 Climax (Fan Theory)

As per a post going viral on Reddit, there have been speculations about the climax of Drishyam 3. Interestingly, while fans believe that Drishyam 3 is coming with a lot of twists, many believe that Georgekutty is likely to die at the end of the movie. A fan wrote, "Georgekutty dies, but his death is actually an elaborate plan orchestrated by himself. The core mystery of the film revolves around this carefully constructed setup, revealed towards climax. He ensures that Varun's death is ultimately proven to be a murder committed by him, backed by strong, undeniable evidence. This final move permanently shields his family from any involvement, closing the case in a way that it can never be reopened"

However, some fans have contradicted the theory and commented, "George Kutty won't die for sure 100%,I can bet on this, Mohanlal was joking in his interview that he told to many people close to him that GK will die by hitting a lorry in the end as they were troubling him to know the climax,he would not have said this if it was the orginal ending, if Gk would die then it will actually make things worse rather than ending because now it's easy for the police to trap the family as GK is not there to protect again, there is no another murder happening in this case, they might investigate about the murder of the replaced skeleton but the core script will be strictly about the original incident, Jeethu Joseph has always said this is a realistic universe and he was also against bringing other characters from his movies,he will never do such stupidity to make it a masala movie". In fact, with the buzz about Drishyam 4 being in the pipeline, fans believe that Georgekutty will continue to survive.

Well, whether Georgekutty will die or will he bring a new twist to the plot of Drishyam 3 will only be revealed once the movie will hit the screens on May 21.

Meanwhile, talking about the climax, Jeethu Joseph told Mathrubhumi, "This film does not have a climax based on hiding a major revelation like exposing the real criminal. Everyone needed for the climax shoot was present on set. Actors and chief technicians were all given the screenplay to read. Naturally, the team too would be curious about the story. During filming, people understand bits and pieces, but since scenes are shot across multiple days, they may not get the complete picture. Cinema is always a collective effort and nothing which causes harm to the project leaks from the team. Even those who shot the famous scene in the first Drishyam - were Georgekutty walks out of the police station carrying a shovel - did not know it was actually part of the climax twist".
