Drishyam 3 Releases Worldwide Amid Strong Opening Buzz
The film continues the story of Georgekutty and his family, characters first introduced in the 2013 original. The new chapter reportedly focuses on the long-term consequences of the decisions made in the earlier films. The trailer, released on May 9, included the line, "You have seen his brilliance. You have witnessed his defence. But you never saw what it cost him," hinting at a more personal and psychological direction for the narrative.
Produced by Aashirvad Cinemas under the banner of Antony Perumbavoor, the film is presented by Pen Studios and Panorama Studios. The technical crew includes cinematographer Satheesh Kurup, editor Vinayak VS, and music composer Anil Johnson.
Since the first Drishyam film released over a decade ago, the franchise has remained one of Malayalam cinema's most discussed thriller series. With the third part now arriving in theatres, attention has shifted to how audiences respond to the latest developments in Georgekutty's story during its theatrical run.
