Drishyam 3 Worldwide Box Office Collection: Drishyam 3, starring Mohanlal in the lead role, continued its steady theatrical run at the global box office on Monday, May 25. The Malayalam crime thriller, directed by Jeethu Joseph, reportedly recorded a strong fifth day in theatres, with trade trackers indicating that the film has crossed the ₹157 crore mark worldwide within five days of release.

The third installment in the popular Drishyam franchise was released in cinemas on May 21, 2026, and has maintained momentum across domestic and overseas markets since its opening day. According to an update shared by industry tracker AB George on X on May 26, the film earned more than ₹15 crore worldwide on its first Monday. The overseas market alone reportedly contributed around $0.65 million to the Day 5 total.

The tracker also claimed that Drishyam 3 became the first film to register over ₹15 crore gross on a non-holiday Monday at the worldwide box office. The post further noted that the film recorded the second-highest Monday worldwide collection for a Malayalam film after L2: Empuraan, which had benefited from an Eid holiday release window.

Drishyam 3: Plot, Cast, And Crew

The latest film revisits the life of Georgekutty and his family several years after the events shown in Drishyam 2. While Georgekutty attempts to move ahead by adapting his life story into a film, the unresolved Varun case once again begins to cast a shadow over the family. As old wounds reopen and new tensions emerge, the story explores the legal and emotional consequences linked to the past.

Apart from Mohanlal, the cast includes Meena, Siddique, Asha Sarath, Murali Gopy, Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil, all reprising key roles from the earlier films in the series.

The film has been produced by Aashirvad Cinemas banner head Antony Perumbavoor, with presentation support from Pen Studios and Panorama Studios. Satheesh Kurup handled cinematography, while Vinayak VS served as editor. The music has been composed by Anil Johnson.

With Day 6 collections currently underway on May 26, trade observers will be closely watching whether the film can maintain its pace during the weekdays before entering its second weekend run.
