Gu OTT Release Date: The Malayalam horror-fantasy drama Gu, featuring Saiju Kurup and child actor Deva Nandha in key roles, is set to reach a wider audience through its digital premiere almost two years after its theatrical run. Directed by Manu Radhakrishnan, the film blends elements of folklore, supernatural mystery, and family drama, centering on a young girl's encounter with an unsettling legend rooted in Kerala's cultural landscape.

Originally released in cinemas on May 17, 2024, Gu later returned to theatres through a re-release on July 18, 2024. While the film attracted attention for its horror-fantasy theme and child-centric narrative, its upcoming OTT debut is expected to introduce the story to viewers who may have missed its theatrical screenings.

At the heart of the film is Minna, an eight-year-old girl who visits her father's ancestral home for the first time. Curious and adventurous, she becomes fascinated by stories surrounding Gulikan, a mysterious supernatural figure believed to appear at any hour of the day or night. What begins as a child's interest in local folklore soon turns into a frightening reality when her cousin Paru becomes affected by a dark and unexplained force.

As the strange events intensify, Minna joins hands with her cousins in an effort to confront the evil presence threatening their family. The story unfolds through a combination of suspense, fantasy elements, and emotional moments, with the young protagonists taking center stage in the battle against the supernatural.

The film stars Deva Nandha, known to Malayalam audiences for her performance in Malikappuram, alongside Saiju Kurup and Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju. Manu Radhakrishnan has written and directed the project, while veteran actor and producer Maniyanpilla Raju has backed the film under the banner of Maniyanpilla Raju Productions.

Behind the scenes, the film's technical crew includes cinematographer Chandrakanth Madhavan, editor Vinayan MJ, and composer Jonathan Bruce. Sound design was handled by Sreejith Sreenivasan, while N.
