Kattalan Box Office Collection Day 5: Antony Varghese Starrer Sees Further Drop In Earnings
Kattalan Box Office Collection: Kattalan, the Malayalam action thriller headlined by Antony Varghese, has completed five days in theatres since its release on May 28, 2026. The film, which serves as the third chapter in the Mikhael Extended Universe following Mikhael (2019) and Marco (2024), continued its theatrical run on Monday while adding to its overall box office tally.

According to box office tracking website Sacnilk, Kattalan earned an estimated ₹0.31 crore net in India on its fifth day in cinemas. The film was screened in approximately 1,100 shows across the country and registered an overall occupancy of 11.6 percent.
With the latest figures included, the film's total India net collection has reached ₹8.04 crore. Its cumulative India gross collection currently stands at ₹9.25 crore after five days of theatrical exhibition.
The movie began its theatrical run with a Day 1 collection of ₹3.80 crore on Thursday. However, collections witnessed a gradual decline over the following days. The film collected ₹1.60 crore on Friday, followed by ₹1.40 crore on Saturday. Sunday's earnings stood at ₹0.93 crore before Monday added another ₹0.31 crore to the tally.
Language-wise, the Malayalam version remained the primary contributor to the film's business on Day 5. It generated around ₹0.20 crore net from 688 shows while recording an occupancy of 9 percent. The Telugu version contributed approximately ₹0.11 crore net from 412 shows and posted an occupancy of 16 percent.

The film is positioned within the Mikhael Extended Universe and features an ensemble cast that includes Antony Varghese, Sunil, Jagadish, Kabir Duhan Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Anson Paul, Hanan Shah, Parth Tiwari, Raj Tirandasu, Hipster, Harishankar Narayanan and Shaji Shahid.
The story centres on a violent struggle for power and survival amid an ivory cartel conflict. The narrative explores themes of revenge, dominance and endurance as rival forces clash in a dangerous environment where survival becomes the ultimate objective.
The technical crew includes Ravi Basrur as music composer, with additional music contributions from B. Ajaneesh Loknath. Renadive handled cinematography, while Shameer Muhammed served as editor.
With June 2 marking the film's sixth day in theatres, industry observers will be watching its weekday performance closely before it heads into its second weekend at the box office.
