Mollywood Times OTT Release Date: After its theatrical release earlier this month, Mollywood Times is now set to make its digital debut. The Malayalam psychological dark comedy, led by Naslen and directed by Abhinav Sunder Nayak, follows an aspiring filmmaker determined to make a memorable debut in the Malayalam film industry.

Released in theatres on June 5, 2026, Mollywood Times features an ensemble cast that includes Sharaf U Dheen, Roshan Shanavas, Sangeeth Prathap, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Gopika Ramesh, Prasanth Alexander and Jagadish in key roles. The film also has cameo appearances by Aarsha Chandini Baiju and Basil Joseph.

Mollywood Times follows Vineeth Madhavan, a young man from Kuttikkanam who dreams of making a name for himself as a horror filmmaker in the Malayalam film industry. Although his father repeatedly warns him about the realities of the profession, Vineeth remains focused on achieving his goal. His journey begins with making short films before he gets the opportunity to work towards his first feature. Along the way, he finds himself dealing with industry politics, creative differences, questions of authorship and the pressure of staying true to his vision. Set against the backdrop of the Malayalam film industry, the film explores the challenges, ambitions and sacrifices that come with chasing a dream.

Mollywood Times: Cast And Crew

Naslen headlines the film as Vineeth Madhavan, while Sharaf U Dheen appears as Sachin Vaikom David. Vineeth Sreenivasan plays Harris Basheer, with Sangeeth Prathap portraying filmmaker Arjun Haridas and Roshan Shanavas appearing as Sujithraj V.

The supporting cast includes Gopika Ramesh, Prasanth Alexander, Althaf Salim, Jagadish, Balachandran Chullikkad, Appunni Sasi, Rajesh Hebbar, Chandu Salim Kumar, Manikandan Pattambi, Rajesh Madhavan, Sudheer Paravoor and Biju Sopanam.

Announcing the digital premiere on social media, JioHotstar described the film as "a love-hate letter to Malayalam cinema" while confirming the July 3 streaming date and its multilingual availability.

With its digital premiere scheduled for July 3, viewers who missed the film's theatrical run will soon be able to watch Mollywood Times on JioHotstar in multiple languages.
