Pallichattambi Box Office Collection Day 1 Early Updates: Pallichattambi has finally arrived in theatres, joining the festive Vishu lineup on April 15, 2026, and bringing with it a wave of curiosity among moviegoers. Headlined by Tovino Thomas and Kayadu Lohar, the action-packed drama marks one of the notable regional releases of the season.

Helmed by director Dijo Jose Antony and written by S. Suresh Babu, the film faced a last-minute delay before hitting the big screens. The film was initially slated to release on April 10 but was pushed back due to the Kerala elections, adding to the anticipation.

Set in the late 1950s, Pallichattambi unfolds against the backdrop of Kerala's historic "Vimochana Samaram" (Liberation Struggle). The Tovino Thomas-led film follows Christopher, a rough-edged enforcer tasked with safeguarding a church and its interests from rising Communist influence, only to discover a deeper purpose as he begins fighting for his own people.

As per reports by M9 News, the film is said to be mounted on a budget of around ₹45 crore. Meanwhile, after its Malayalam release, Pallichattambi is scheduled to expand into the Telugu market, with its dubbed version expected to hit theatres this Friday, April 17.

Tovino Thomas's much-awaited Pallichattambi has opened to a slow start at the box office on its first day. As per real-time data from Sacnilk, the film has managed to collect around ₹1.55 cr net in India today till 6:30 PM.

In terms of overall figures, the India gross currently stands at approximately ₹1.83 cr.
