Patriot OTT Release: The Malayalam film Patriot, starring Mammootty and Mohanlal, has opened in theatres worldwide on May 1, 2026. Directed by Mahesh Narayanan, the action thriller brings together a multi-starrer cast and marks a notable collaboration in Malayalam cinema. The project is written, co-edited, and helmed by the director, with production led by Anto Joseph and K. G. Anil Kumar.

The film reunites Mammootty and Mohanlal on screen after a gap of more than a decade, their last appearance together being in Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty (2013). Their return in a full-fledged narrative has drawn attention, given their long-standing presence in the industry. Alongside them, the film features a wide ensemble including Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, and Revathi in key roles.
