Peddi Box Office Collection Day 4 (Early Update): Peddi quickly turned into one of the year's biggest Telugu films, with box office numbers backing the hype. Within its first two days, the sports-action drama earned around Rs 96.4 crore net in India and crossed Rs 150 crore worldwide, underlining Ram Charan's strong draw with cinema audiences. The film is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and features Ram Charan in the lead, supported by Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu Sharma, and Boman Irani. Released in multiple languages across India and overseas, Peddi attracted considerable attention even before release, thanks to its scale and star-studded cast.

Peddi also sparked debate shortly after release, when a section of viewers objected to the way Janhvi Kapoor's character was written. These viewers said the film objectified women, and the criticism grew quickly online. The reaction became strong enough that Buchi Babu Sana issued a public apology and promised to modify specific scenes. Even with this controversy, Peddi sustained its momentum at the box office and continued to draw large crowds. Interestingly, Peddi is witnessing a hike in numbers today (day 4/ first Sunday) and earned Rs 29.82cr until 8:15pm including Rs 3.3cr in Hindi, Rs 26.32cr in Telugu and Rs 20 lakhs in Tamil. While the total collection stand at Rs 155.07cr (all languages combined), Peddi is eyeing to touch Rs 160cr during the opening weekend.

Talking about Peddi during an event, director Buchi Babu Sana stated, "Peddi is an emotional journey. It is about how a sportsperson earns identity and respect and influences the people around him. Peddi faces setbacks, falls several times, but rises stronger every time. How he overcomes those challenges forms the heart of the story. Even after watching it so many times, the final 40 to 50 minutes still make me emotional. I have cried several times while watching those portions. My friends who have seen the film told me that I have made a good film and assured me that audiences will connect with it".
