Vaazha 2 Box Office Collection Day 12: Hashir's Film Nears ₹170 Cr Worldwide, Holds Steady On Weekday

Vaazha 2 Box Office Collection: Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros, the Malayalam action comedy drama released on April 2, 2026, continued its theatrical run with steady numbers into its second week. As the film completed 12 days in theatres, it maintained a consistent pace at the box office, even as collections showed a dip on Monday, which is typically expected after a weekend surge.

Vaazha 2 BO Day 12 Nears 170 Cr Worldwide

According to trade estimates reported by Sacnilk, the film collected ₹5.00 crore (India net) on Day 12 (second Monday). This brings its total India net collection to ₹82.50 crore so far, while the India gross stands at approximately ₹95.50 crore. Despite the weekday slowdown, the film has managed to sustain momentum, especially after a strong second weekend.

Overseas, Vaazha 2 added around ₹0.50 crore on its 12th day, taking its total international gross to ₹74.25 crore. With both domestic and overseas earnings combined, the worldwide gross collection has reached ₹169.75 crore after 12 days in theatres.

The film's performance over the second weekend contributed significantly to its overall total. It collected ₹6.35 crore on Day 9 (Friday), followed by ₹7.60 crore on Saturday and ₹8.50 crore on Sunday. However, collections dropped to ₹5.00 crore on Monday, reflecting a common weekday trend after higher weekend footfalls.

Looking at the broader trend, the film had already posted a strong first week total of ₹55.05 crore (India net). It continued to build on that momentum in its second week, aided by consistent occupancy levels and a stable number of shows across theatres.

Vaazha 2 Cast And Story

Directed by Savin SA and written by Vipin Das, Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros is a sequel to the 2024 film Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys. The film features a cast including Hashir, Alan, Ajin, and Vinayak in central roles, along with Aju Varghese, Vijay Babu, Bijukuttan, and Sudheesh in supporting parts.
