Vaazha 2 Box Office Collection Day 2: Hashir's Film Sees Jump, Near ₹10 Cr India Net, ₹21 Cr Worldwide Gross
Vaazha 2 Box Office Collection: The Malayalam film Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros, featuring Hashir H, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V in lead roles, continued its theatrical run with a noticeable jump in collections on its second day. The sequel to Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys (2024) hit cinemas on April 2, 2026, and has shown steady momentum over its opening two days.

According to estimates from box office tracking platform Sacnilk, the film collected ₹5.15 crore on Day 2 (Friday) across 1,233 shows, marking an increase from its opening day figure of ₹4.75 crore across 1,173 shows. With this, the total India net collection stands at ₹9.90 crore, while the India gross has reached ₹11.48 crore so far. The film also recorded a rise in occupancy, moving from 64% on Day 1 to 74% on Day 2.
On the global front, Vaazha 2 has also registered steady earnings. The film collected ₹5.50 crore overseas on its second day, taking its total international gross to ₹10 crore. The worldwide gross collection now stands at ₹21.48 crore after two days.
Vaazha 2: Story, Cast, Crew, and Weekend Box Office Outlook
The film follows four friends, Hashir, Alan, Ajin, and Vinayak, who are often seen as troublemakers by their families, school authorities, and those around them. As they grow older, they come under increasing pressure to change and take responsibility, setting them on a journey of self-discovery. Along the way, they begin to figure out what they want from life, eventually finding a sense of peace and direction on their own terms.
Directed by Savin SA and written by Vipin Das, the film brings together a supporting cast that includes Veda Shankar, Alphonse Puthren, Aju Varghese, Vijay Babu, Bijukuttan, and Sudheesh. The technical crew features Akhil Lailasuran as the director of photography and Kannan Mohan as the editor, with music supervision by Ankit Menon.
With Saturday (Day 3) underway, trade observers will be watching closely to see if the film sustains its upward trend over the weekend. The early signs indicate stable audience interest, but the coming days will be key in determining its longer-term box office trajectory.
