Vaazha 2 Box Office Collection Day 24: Hashir's Film Beats Lokah, Becomes Highest-Grossing Film In Kerala

Vaazha 2 Box Office Collection: Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros continued its strong theatrical run in Kerala as the film completed 24 days in cinemas on April 25, with its Day 25 run underway on Sunday, April 26. The Malayalam coming-of-age comedy drama, directed by Savin SA in his directorial debut and written by Vipin Das, has now crossed a major milestone at the state box office.

According to a report published by box office tracking website Sacnilk on April 25 at 9:09 PM IST, Vaazha 2 had already grossed around ₹119.65 crore in Kerala by the end of its 23-day run. The report stated that the film was expected to cross ₹121 crore on Day 24, which would place it ahead of Lokah Chapter 1 - Chandra and make it the highest-grossing film ever in Kerala.

Sacnilk noted that Lokah Chapter 1 had previously held the top position with ₹120.85 crore, while Thudarum stood at ₹118.90 crore. Based on the latest estimates, Vaazha 2 has moved past both titles to claim the top spot in the state.

Film industry tracker AB George also shared updated estimates on X on the morning of April 26. In a post made at 7:36 AM, he estimated that the film collected around ₹1.50 crore in Kerala on April 25 alone. In another update posted at 7:42 AM, he stated that the total Kerala gross of Vaazha 2 had reached approximately ₹121.40 crore after 24 days.

The sequel to the 2024 film Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys, the new installment follows the lives of four friends, Hashir, Alan, Ajin, and Vinayak, who are often seen as underachievers and troublemakers by their families and society. As they move into adulthood, they face expectations, failures, and personal struggles, eventually finding their own path toward acceptance and responsibility.

The film stars Hashir H., Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V. in lead roles, with Vijay Babu, Aju Varghese, Bijukuttan, Alphonse Puthren, and Sudheesh appearing in supporting parts.
