Vaazha 2 Day 1 Box Office Collection Prediction: Will Hashir H And Alan Bin Siraj Film Cross ₹5 Cr Worldwide?
Vaazha 2 Box Office Collection Prediction: The Malayalam film Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros has hit theatres on April 2 (Thursday), opening with steady advance booking figures across key territories. The film serves as a sequel to Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys (2024) and continues its coming-of-age narrative.

According to box office tracker Jerin Georgekutty, the film recorded a worldwide pre-sales figure of approximately ₹2.65 crore as of 7:00 AM IST on release day. Kerala leads the domestic advance booking with ₹1.88 crore, while Karnataka contributed around ₹13 lakh. Other regions, including Tamil Nadu (₹3.5 lakh), Telugu states (₹1.5 lakh), and the rest of India (₹2 lakh), added smaller shares, taking the total domestic advance to ₹2.08 crore. Overseas bookings are estimated at around $60,000 (₹56.85 lakh).
These figures suggest a steady opening for a film of this scale and cast profile. According to Jerin Georgekutty, if initial audience response turns favourable, the film could cross ₹5 crore in worldwide gross on its first day. However, as with most releases, much will depend on word of mouth and occupancy trends through the day.
Vaazha 2 Story, Cast And Early Box Office Trends
Directed by Savin SA and written by Vipin Das, Vaazha 2 blends elements of action, comedy, and family drama. The story follows four friends, Hashir, Alan, Ajin, and Vinayak, who are often labelled as underachievers by their families and institutions. As they transition into adulthood, they confront social expectations and personal setbacks, eventually finding their own path toward responsibility and self-acceptance.
The film is backed by multiple producers, including Vipin Das, Harris Desom, Sahu Garapati, P.B Anish, and Adarsh Narayan, under the Icon Studios banner. The technical crew features cinematography by Akhil Lailasuran and editing by Kannan Mohan. Music supervision is handled by Ankit Menon, with multiple composers contributing to the soundtrack. The background score is credited to A Team.
With its release now underway, Vaazha 2 enters a competitive theatrical space, and its performance over the next few days will offer a clearer picture of its box office trajectory. Early trends suggest a decent start, but sustained momentum will depend on audience reception across centres.
