Vaazha 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection: The Malayalam film Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros has reportedly crossed a significant milestone at the global box office during its ongoing theatrical run. As of Day 11 (Sunday, April 12), the film has moved past the ₹150 crore mark worldwide, according to updates shared by industry trackers.

Vaazha 2 Worldwide Box Office Film Crosses 150 Cr

Film industry tracker AB George, in a recent social media post, stated that the film's worldwide collection has exceeded ₹150 crore. A separate update from tracker Forum Reelz also indicated that Vaazha 2 has reached the same milestone, placing it among a select group of Malayalam films, reportedly the ninth to cross this mark.

With this, Vaazha 2 is said to have become one of the few Malayalam films to cross the ₹150 crore mark worldwide. The film's performance has been driven by both domestic and overseas markets, with steady collections reported across its first ten days and into its second weekend.

Vaazha 2 Cast, Coming-Of-Age Narrative And Crew

Released on April 2, 2026, the film is a sequel to Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys (2024). Directed by Savin SA and written by Vipin Das, the sequel continues its coming-of-age narrative with a mix of humour and drama.

The cast includes Hashir H, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V in central roles, supported by actors such as Veda Shankar, Alphonse Puthren, Aju Varghese, Vijay Babu, Bijukuttan, and Sudheesh. The film features a relatively fresh ensemble, with the story focusing on the lives of four young men navigating personal and social challenges.

At the centre of the narrative are four friends who are often perceived as underachievers by their families and surroundings. As they move into adulthood, they encounter increasing pressure to conform to expectations. The story follows their journey as they attempt to find direction and stability, while redefining success on their own terms.

Technically, the film includes cinematography by Akhil Lailasuran and editing by Kannan Mohan, with music supervision by Ankit Menon and a background score by A Team. The film blends elements of comedy and emotional storytelling, continuing the tone established in its predecessor.

While the ₹150 crore milestone reflects the film's strong global run, trade observers will be closely watching how it performs in the coming days. With the second weekend underway, weekday trends are expected to offer further clarity on its overall box office trajectory.
