A widely shared video from the Dubai show captured Mohanlal growing emotional as the audience greeted the actor with thunderous applause. Trade portal Sacnilk reported that Drishyam 3 collected Rs 13.70 crore in Malayalam on Day 1 across 3,503 screens. The film also opened in other languages, adding Rs 20 lakh in Kannada, Rs 45 lakh in Tamil, and Rs 1.50 crore in Telugu markets on the same day.

The strong response for Drishyam 3 extended beyond India, with overseas markets contributing Rs 30 crore on opening day. This pushed the worldwide gross to Rs 48.37 crore, reinforcing the franchise’s status as one of Indian cinema’s best-known thriller series and keeping Mohanlal’s Georgekutty firmly in the public eye.
