Manju Pathrose Starts Instagram Subscription Feature: Malayalam television actress and reality show personality Manju Pathrose has introduced Instagram's subscription feature on her official account, joining a growing list of creators and celebrities using Instagram's paid subscription feature. The actress recently addressed the decision through a video shared online, where she spoke openly about the hesitation she initially felt about starting the feature.

Manju said she was uncomfortable discussing subscriptions because the concept has often been viewed negatively on social media due to the way some creators use the platform. According to the actress, she personally felt awkward while announcing the feature, as public conversations around subscription-based content have increasingly become controversial in recent months.

However, Manju clarified that subscribers should not expect sensational or explicit content from her account. Instead, she explained that the subscription section would mainly focus on personal updates, life experiences, travel moments, conversations with followers, and exclusive interactions through videos and live sessions.

Her Instagram subscription feature is currently active with a monthly fee of ₹390. The subscription section includes features such as exclusive posts, reels, live videos, subscriber badges, broadcast channels, and subscriber-only chat options. Her profile currently shows 21 subscribers.

Speaking about her plans, Manju said she intends to begin regularly posting exclusive content from June 1 onward. She added that even if only a small number of people subscribe, she still plans to continue creating content for them consistently.

Manju became a familiar face among Malayalam television audiences through the reality show Veruthe Alla Bharya. She later entered television acting and gained wider recognition through comedy and family-oriented serials. One of her early breakthroughs came through the popular sitcom Marimayam, which helped establish her presence in Malayalam mini-screen entertainment.

Over the years, she appeared in several television programs including Mayamohini and Kunnamkulathangaadi. Her performance in Aliyan vs Aliyan also earned her recognition, including a Special Jury mention at the Kerala State Television Awards.

Apart from scripted television, Manju later became widely known among younger viewers after participating in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2, hosted by Mohanlal. Her participation in the reality show significantly expanded her social media visibility and online following.

Along with her television career, Manju Pathrose has also appeared in several Malayalam films over the years, including Maheshinte Prathikaaram, Kammatipaadam, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, Thottappan, Bhoothakaalam, and Christy, among others.
