Shiyas Kareem Faces Sexual Exploitation Complaint: Model and actor Shiyas Kareem, best known for his appearance in the first season of the reality show Bigg Boss Malayalam, is once again in the news following a fresh complaint alleging sexual exploitation and financial fraud.

According to a report by Asianet News, a woman based in Kochi has approached the Palarivattom police with serious allegations against Shiyas, claiming that he cheated her of nearly ₹49 lakh over multiple transactions while maintaining a personal relationship with her.

As reported by Asianet News, the complainant is a businesswoman who has been living in Kochi for the past seven years. In her complaint, she stated that she first came into contact with Shiyas through social media in June 2023. Their interaction reportedly developed into a friendship and later into a live-in relationship in 2024.

The woman alleged that during the early stage of their relationship, Shiyas borrowed around ₹10 lakh from her in several installments. She further claimed that after learning she had sold family property, he allegedly asked for another ₹22 lakh, saying the money was needed to start a gym. He reportedly promised to make her a partner in the business and assured her of a long-term future together.

The complaint also states that after she underwent the removal of her uterus due to health complications, Shiyas allegedly informed her that he intended to marry someone else. Despite that, she claimed the relationship continued and that she was subjected to sexual exploitation. She further alleged that he took money from her for wedding-related expenses, including clothes and celebrations connected to his marriage.

The woman also accused him of threatening her after she resisted. She claimed that he, along with a friend, entered her flat in Kozhikode and threatened to record and circulate private visuals, including nude visuals involving the two of them. She stated that these threats were used to extort money, bringing the total amount involved to around ₹49 lakh.

However, Shiyas has denied the allegations. He reportedly stated that the woman had borrowed money from him on several occasions and threatened to implicate him in a case when he asked for it back. He also said that a complaint had already been filed by him with the Perumbavoor police, where an inquiry is underway.

Shiyas Kareem: Previous Allegations, Social Media Backlash

This is not the first time allegations of this nature have surfaced against Shiyas. Earlier, Chandera police in Kasaragod had registered a case against him based on a complaint from a gym trainer who alleged sexual assault under the promise of marriage and financial cheating.

Apart from the legal controversies, Shiyas had recently faced criticism on social media after a video from a public event went viral. In the clip, he was seen asking actress Anumol why she was not eating beef. When Anumol replied that she was avoiding it because she was on a diet, Shiyas responded by asking whether it was because of her diet or because of the BJP. The remark triggered widespread criticism online, leading to several reaction videos and social media posts against him.

Shiyas Kareem entered the Bigg Boss Malayalam house on Day 15 during its debut season and finished as the second runner-up, gaining significant public attention through the show.
