Orkut Oru Ormakoot – Movie Review

Orkut Oru Ormakoot, directed by Vinod (brother of the legendary filmmaker Lohithadas) hit the theatre today with a bang!

Orkut Oru Ormakoot is a must watch this year as it has some of the best performances by some absolute newcomers.

Orkut Oru Ormakoot stars four newcomers – Joe (son of director Sibi Malayil), Ben (son of Lalu Alex), Anu Mohan (son of Sobha Mohan and brother of actor Vinu Mohan) and Vishnu (son of photographer Gopalakrishnan). Reema Kalingal is the only female actress in the film.

It is amazing to see how a film as modest as Orkut Oru Ormakoot could work so well minus superstars like Mammootty and Mohanlal. The main plus point of Orkut Oru Ormakoot is the solid script.

Orkut Oru Ormakoot is directed by two brothers Manoj and Vinod. Manoj was Assistant Director to Lohitadas. Direction by Vinod is awesome, and so is the screenplay and cinematography.

Story
Orkut Oru Ormakoot is the story about the friendship between four guys who live together in a posh apartment. They have absolutely no values and morals and believe in having nothing but fun, until the character portrayed by Reema Kallingal enters their life. Life takes a U turn after that.

Performance
All the actors are outstanding. They seem extremely comfortable in front of the camera. Reema Kallingal is brilliant as she gets to perform a very meaty role.

In short Orkut Oru Ormakoot is a must watch film.
