Kaanchi
is
the
latest
movie
directed
by
CR
Krishnakumar.
As
the
director
has
claimed,
the
movie
has
elements
of
drama
as
well
as
it
is
thrilling.
Starring
Indrajith
and
Murali
Gopy
in
the
lead,
but
the
movie
has
a
revolver
playing
the
lead
role.
The
movie
begins
with
a
pistol
who
was
missed
out
from
the
hands
of
a
boy,
while
trying
to
kill
Peringodan
Narayanan
(Murali
Gopy).
Peringodan
Narayanan
is
the
landlord
of
his
place
and
has
committed
many
murders.
Everybody
hate
him
and
he
fears
that
someone
will
come
and
kills
him
one
day.
With
this
fear
in
mind,
Peringodan
kills
everyone
who
stands
against
him.
Meanwhile,
the
movie
introduces
Gauri
(Archana
Gupta),
a
girl
who
dreams
about
her
to-be-husband.
She
wants
a
husband
who
is
very
much
modern
in
life.
With
the
help
of
a
broker,
Gauri
happens
to
meet
Madhavan
(Indrajith),
a
grocery
shop
owner.
They
start
off
with
a
no
but
later
ends
up
in
love.
But
Madhavan
lands
up
in
an
issue
with
Peringodan
Narayanan.
How
Madhavan
saves
himself
from
getting
killed
by
Peringodan
forms
the
rest
of
the
story.
Performances
As
usual
we
can
see
a
very
good
performance
from
Indrajith
and
Murali
Gopy.
The
rest
of
the
cast
including
Sudheer
Karamana,
Archana
Gupta
and
others
have
done
fairly
a
good
job.
Positives
The
movie
is
credited
of
having
some
very
good
seat
clunching
moments
as
it
has
assured.
BGM
as
well
as
the
cinematography
too
has
done
a
commendable
work.
Negatives
It
is
more
like
a
male
centric
film.
The
main
focus
is
only
on
a
revolver.
Though
element
of
romance
is
there
in
the
film,
it
lacks
a
feeling.
Verdict
Overall
Kaanchi
is
a
watchable
movie.
For
all
those
who
love
watching
thriller
movies,
go
for
Kaanchi.
