Shambu
Purushothaman's
Vedivazhipadu
is
one
of
the
numerous
new
generation
wave
movies,
which
has
several
beep
sounds
and
talks
about
extra
marital
affairs.
Story
Vedivazhipadu
revolves
around
the
lives
of
Rahul
(Murali
Gopy)
working
as
a
game
tester
married
to
Radhika
(Anjana
Haridas);
Sanjay
(Saiju
Kurup),
a
bank
cashier
who
lives
in
fear
of
his
wife
Rashmi
(Anusree),
who
works
as
a
reporter
in
a
private
channel;
Pradeep
(Sreejith
Ravi),
an
investor
married
to
Vidya
(Mythili),
working
as
a
French
teacher
and
Joseph
(Indrajith)
working
in
the
investment
field.
When
the
wives
are
away
from
home
for
ponkala,
Rahul,
Sanjay
and
Pradeep
decide
to
spend
the
day
with
alcohol
and
a
woman
(Anumol),
whom
they
hire
for
the
day
to
celebrate.
What
happens
to
three
of
them,
and
their
wives
forms
the
rest
of
plot.
Performances
Performances
by
the
lead
actors
including
Murali
Gopy,
Indrajith,
Sreejith
Ravi,
Saiju
Kurup
are
good.
Lead
female
actors
including
Mythili,
Anumol,
Anusree
and
Anjana
have
also
done
justice
to
their
roles.
But
it's
a
must
to
say
that
none
had
to
perform
anything
special
than
what
they
had
done
in
their
filmi
career.
Technical
Aspects
Cinematography
by
Shehnad
Jalal
is
nothing
new
and
had
too
less
to
offer.
BGM
by
Bijibal
also
fails
to
impress.
There
are
some
dialogues
in
the
movie
that
can
create
laughter
here
and
there.
It
remains
a
mystery
why
the
movie
had
censorship
issues.
Also,
what
the
director
had
targeted
is
unknown.
It
might
be
the
new
generation
wave
which
has
attracted
the
director
to
pen
such
a
script.
Well,
we
have
to
wait
and
watch
how
the
movie
goes
in
the
coming
days.
