100 Days Of Love Movie Review: Romance Redefined
100 Days Of Love is a romantic drama written and directed by debutante Jenuse Mohamed. The movie stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in the lead roles. 100 Days Of Love is produced by Vijayakumar Palakkunnu, under the banner Aishwarya Sneha Movies.
100 Days Of Love Plot
The movie revolves around Balan K Nair aka BKN (Dulquer Salmaan), who works as a columnist in National daily. He lives with his best friend Ummer (Shekhar Menon), who is a gamer. BKN, who is recovering from a painful breakup, encounters Sheela (Nithya Menen) in a rainy night, who leaves her camera in the taxi. He immediately falls in love with her and searches for her with the help of Ummer. This forms the crux of the story.

Dulquer Salmaan perfectly plays Balan K Nair and lives the role with his expressive eyes and soulful voice. Nithya Menen, who plays Sheela, fits into her role of a Bangalore based Malayali girl and shares a great chemistry with Dulquer Salmaan. Shekhar Menon shines in his role with an energetic performance.

It's a bit hard to accept Vineeth as Nithya's father; but the actor overcomes the initial mismatch with his decent performance. Praveena, who plays Nithya's mother, has nothing much to do in the movie. Rest of the cast, including Rahul Madhav, who plays Nithya's fiance, Aju Varghese who appears in a cameo, VK Prakash etc are good in their respective roles.
Script And Direction
Jenuse Mohamed's script brings out a usual love story in a different way. The movie which travels through the cliched situations and dialogues looks artificial at places.The director has managed to conceal the little flaws to an extent with the brilliant visualisation. In short, 100 Days Of Love is a perfect launch pad for Jenuse.
Technical Aspects
Pradheesh Varma's brilliant visuals makes the movie a perfect visual treat. The cinematographer has succeeded in bringing out the beauty and richness of Bangalore city in his frames.
Sandeep Kumar's editing is just ok; as the movie falls into low pace at places. Ajay Mangad, who handles the art direction and Sameera Saneesh, who designed the costumes deserves special mentions.

Songs composed by Govind Menon are just average. But the mind-blowing background score composed by Bijibal perfectly matches the mood of the movie.
