Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi Story
Nature enthusiast Philipose John Varkey (Kunchacko Boban), retired defense secretary CKAK Menon (Nedumudi Venu), gun testing expert Madhumita Krishnan (Reenu Mathews), street magician Bheeran (Sunny Wayne), adventure love Shanumgan Ilangovan (Bharath), chemical engineer Ananthakrishnan Iyer (Jacob Gregory), Prof. Neelakandan (Chemban Vinod) and guide Mahadevan (Sudheer Karamana), join hands to protect a tribal village named 7000 Kandi, which is about to be destroyed. How the gang succeeds in their mission forms the plot of the movie.
Cast And Performance
Kunchacko Boban, Chemban Vinod and Sudheer Karamana steal the show with extraordinary performances. The movie has brought some fresh air into the careers of Kunchacko and Chemban, who are undoubtedly the most typecasted actors of the industry.
Nedumudi Venu, Reenu Mathews, Sunny Wayne, Bharath and Jacob Gregory have also done their parts with absolute brilliance. The rest of the star cast includes Divyadarshan, Subhiksha, Nebin Benson, Suddy Koppa etc are also good in their roles.
Script And Direction
The movie is scripted and directed by Anil Radhakrishnan Menon. The movie deals with an almost untold story extraordinarily. Anil has made a sincere approach towards the fresh theme; thus making it a movie of international standards.
LL7K is not like the usual Malayalam movies; but surely has an international flavour. A few portions in the narrative looks similar to Anil Radhakrishnan's debut movie North 24 Kaatham; but overall, it possesses an adventurous mood.
Technical Aspects
The soul of the movie lies in Jayesh Nair's cinematography. The cinematographer has brilliantly visualized the beauty of the forest. He has succeeded in making the movie, one of the most brilliantly picturized movies in the history of Malayalam Cinema.
Aumstation's sound design has completely absorbed the voice of forest; thus providing a classy touch to the movie. Manoj Kannoth's editing is perfect. The VFX and art departments deserve a special applause for creating such a visual magic in silver screen.
Music
Rex Vijayan completely blends with the mood of the movie. Debutante Sushin Shyam, who composed the background score has done a commendable job.
