Su
Su
Sudhi
Vathmeekam
is
the
feel-good
entertainer
which
stars
Jayasurya
in
the
title
role.
The
movie
is
directed
by
Ranjith
Sankar
and
written
by
himself,
along
with
Abhayakumar.

Story
Sudheendran
aka
Sudhi
is
a
young
man
who
suffers
from
stammering
problem.
He
goes
through
all
the
ups
and
downs
of
a
common
man's
life,
still
never
loses
the
self-confidence.
The
movie
travels
through
Sudhi's
struggles,
love,
fears,
failures,
and
narrates
how
he
becomes
successful
in
his
life.
Cast
And
Performance
Jayasurya
is
just
brilliant
as
Sudhi.
The
actor
yet
again
proves
that
he
is
one
of
the
finest
actors
of
our
industry,
by
portraying
the
various
stages
of
Sudhi's
life
with
much
ease
and
perfection.
Newcomer
Swathi
and
Shivadha,
who
played
the
female
leads,
are
good
in
their
respective
roles.
Mukesh,
who
plays
Sudhi's
mentor,
has
delivered
a
commendable
performance.
Aju
Varghese
has
nothing
new
to
do
in
his
repetitive
role.
We
seriously
recommend
the
actor
to
go
for
an
image
makeover
as
soon
as
possible.
KPAC
Lalitha
and
TG
Ravi
are
also
perfect
in
their
respective
roles.
Script
And
Direction
Ranjith
Sankar,
the
director
has
succeeded
in
narrating
a
positive
theme,
in
the
backdrop
of
a
commoner's
life,
with
complete
perfection.
Even
though
the
movie
has
no
thrilling
moments
or
twists
to
offer;
the
writer-director
combo
will
surely
make
the
audience
love
Sudhi
from
the
very
beginning.
Technical
Aspects
Vinod
Illampilly's
cinematography
is
simply
beautiful
and
gives
a
complete
natural
touch,
which
the
simple
narrative
demands.
Editing
by
V
Sajan
is
up
to
the
standards.
Saritha
Jayasurya
makes
a
decent
debut
as
a
costume
designer
with
the
movie.
Songs
And
Background
Score
National
Award
winner
Bijibal
has
composed
the
songs
and
background
score
for
the
movie.
The
earthly
songs
go
hand-in-hand
with
the
simple,
elegant
plot.
Background
score
also
perfectly
sinks
in
with
the
mood
of
the
movie.
Verdict
A
simple
feel-good
entertainer
which
reminds
the
importance
of
self-confidence.
