Aana
takes

through
the
life

a
guy
named
Suku,
who
is
in
need
of
money
to
clear
some
debt.
He
gets
an
assignment
in
Qatar
which
turns
out
to
be
a
failure
and
when
he
returns
to
his
homeplace,
he
meets
a
Sheikh
and
what
happens
rest
forms
the
crux
of
the
story.
About
The
Movie
Marubhoomiyile
Aana
has
nothing
much
to
offer
for
the
audiences.
The
story
is
nothing
new
and
even
certain
sequences
of
the
film
would
give
you
a
dejavu
feel.
The
first
half
of
the
film
might
test
your
patience
but
the
actors
come
to
the
rescue.
The
second
half
of
the
film
starts
off
promisingly
with
some
good
comedy
numbers
and
interesting
sequences.
But,
later
the
film
falls
in
to
the
usual
formats
of
twists
and
turns
that
are
not
convincing.
Performances
Biju
Menon
plays
the
lead
role
of
Sheikh
Sultan.
The
actor
has
put
in
his
best
and
the
way
he
has
handled
the
dialect
is
commendable.
In
fact,
his
one-liners
are
sure
to
provide
some
laughter.
Krishna
Shankar
appears
as
Suku
and
he
proves
his
mettle
as
an
actor.
Hareesh
Perumanna
scores
with
his
witty
one-liners
whereas
Balu
Varghese
is
becoming
a
bit
repetitive.
It
was
good
to
see
Lalu
Alex
back
on
the
screen
but
he
got
a
role
with
no
difference.
Samskruthy
Shenoy
has
been
hugely
wasted
in
a
poorly
developed
role.
Script
&
Direction
V
K
Prakash
could
have
done
a
lot
better
but
he
seems
to
be
in
a
hurry
burry.
It
is
a
rather
lazy
making
from
the
experienced
director.
The
script
written
by
Y
V
Rajesh
doesn't
have
a
flow
and
the
sequences
don't
evoke
any
laughter
in
you.
The
twists
and
turns
in
the
film
look
like
they
have
been
forced
in.
Cinematography
&
Editing
Cinematography
by
Ajay
David
Kachappily
is
average.
V
Saajan
has
done
a
good
job
in
keeping
the
run
time
of
the
film
under
check.
Music
&
BGM
Ratheesh
Vega
has
set
the
tunes
for
two
songs
and
the
song
Marubhoomiyile
Aana
sung
by
Vijay
Yesudas
is
good.
Bijibal
has
done
a
good
job
with
re-recording.
Verdict
Marubhoomiyile
Aana
has
nothing
much
to
offer.
Actors
have
tried
their
best
to
save
the
movie
but
a
lifeless
story
and
lazy
making,
make
the
film
a
disappointment.
