Baahubali

which
could
rightly
be
termed
as
the
biggest
Indian
movie
till
date,
has
made
a
grand
release
today(April
28,
2017).
The
film,
directed
by
SS
Rajamouli
ranks
high
on
expectations
and
is
expected
to
repeat
the
magic
of
its
prequel.
In
Kerala,
the
Malayalam
dubbed
version
of
Baahubali
2:
The
Conclusion
has
also
graced
the
theatres,
simultaneously.
Global
United
Media
has
brought
the
magnum
opus
to
the
theatres
in
Kerala.

off
from
where

ended
in

Baahubali:
The
Beginning.The
film
takes
you
through
the
events
that

Sivagami
Devi
declares

Director
-
SS
Rajamouli
Hats
off
to
this
man,
who
has
yet
again
proved
why
he
is
one
of
the
best
film-makers
of
current
day
Indian
cinema.
He
is
in
complete
control
of
the
product
and
he
has
the
knack
to
keep
the
viewers
glued
to
their
seat.
There
isn't
a
single
moment
in
the
film,
where
one
would
think
of
taking
a
yawn.
Credits
to
this
man
who
has
shown
Indian
cinema
that
such
big
products
are
feasible
in
our
market,
as
well.
He
rightly
knows
the
pulse
of
the
audiences
and
delivers
mass,
class,
emotional
and
comical
sequences
in
the
right
proportions,
remaining
well
within
the
demands
of
the
storyline.
For
eg,
you
ought
to
watch
the
portions
before
the
interval
punch.
The
way
Rajamouli
has
conceptualised
those
scenes
is
incomparable.
Cast
Baahubali
2:
The
Conclusion
retains
almost
the
entire
cast
from
its
prequel.
Prabhas
is
in
top
gear
as
Amarendra
Baahubali
and
it
is
this
character
that
rules
most
of
the
portions
of
the
movie.
More
importantly,
he
has
been
able
to
make
both
Amarendra
Baahubali
and
Mahendra
Baahubali
distinct
characters,
with
his
performance.
Ramya
Krishnan
once
again
proves
why
she
is
one
of
the
best
acting
talents
of
Indian
film
industry.
We
simply
couldn't
think
anybody
other
than
her
in
the
shoes
of
Sivagami.
Anushka
Shetty
gets
has
got
more
number
of
scenes
in
this
sequel
and
she
has
done
a
brilliant
job.
Sathyaraj
takes
forward
his
brilliant
act
from
the
first
part
and
this
time,
we
can
see
the
actor's
comical
side,
as
well.
Rana
Daggubati
&
Nasser
too,
score
high
with
their
antagonistic
acts.
Tamannaah
doesn't
have
much
to
do
in
this
part.

BGM
of

2:
The
Conclusion
is
the
soul
of
the
film.
It
gels
well
with
the
mood
of
the
movie
and
takes
forward
the
viewers
with
full
thrill.
Songs
of
the
film
are
decent,
with
Bali
Bali
Baahubali
being
the
pick
among
the
lot.
But,
the
dubbed
versions
of
the
songs
are
disappointing
with
the
direct
translation
of
lyrics
to
Malayalam,
playing
the
spoilsport.
Production
Designer–
Sabu
Cyril
Sabu
Cyril,
the
man
from
Kerala
is
the
prime
architect
behind
the
huge
and
breath-taking
sets,
which
you
could
see
in
the
film.
The
sets
and
the
entire
design
are
completely
believable
and
due
credits
must
be
given
to
this
man.
Cinematographer
–
KK
Senthil
Kumar
KK
Senthil
Kumar,
once
again,
has
done
a
neat
job
with
the
cinematography
department.
Some
of
the
visuals
are
breath-taking,
especially
the
frames
that
he
set
for
certain
sequences
in
the
first
half
of
the
movie.
Other
Technical
Aspects
Editing
of
Baahubali
2:
The
Conclusion
is
clean,
neat
and
crisp
and
the
section
has
been
handled
by
Kotagiri
Venkateswara
Rao.
Costumes
by
Rama
Rajamouli
deserves
a
special
mention.
VFX
works
are
exemplary
and
at
the
same
time,
it
has
faltered
in
some
of
the
sequences
in
the
climax
but
that
doesn't
take
anything
away
from
the
great
work
of
the
team.
Overall
View
Well,
it
is
a
difficult
task
to
describe
Baahubali
2:
The
Conlusion
with
words.
It
is
a
film,
that
must
be
experienced
in
the
theatres.
Much
like
its
prequel,
Baahubali
2:
The
Conclusion
wins
hands
down
in
taking
the
viewers
to
the
world
of
Mahishmathi.
The
first
half
of
Baahubali
2:
The
Conclusion
is
its
biggest
strength.
One
get
to
witness
some
never
seen
before
action
sequences(especially
the
arrow
fight
sequence
involving
Devasena
&
Amarendra
Baahubali).
The
romantic
track
between
Amarendra
Baahubali
&
Devasena
also
looks
convincing
with
a
pleasant
surprise
package
in
the
form
of
the
humorous
side
of
Kattappa.
Importantly,
Baahubali
2:
The
Conclusion
has
concentrated
more
on
the
emotonal
side.
the
bond
between
Amarendra
Baahubali
&
Kattappa
and
the
former's
unconditional
love
for
his
mother,
Sivagami
have
been
well
traced
in
the
film
and
thus
making
the
viewers
feel
for
the
characters
in
the
film.
And
such
factors
lay
the
perfect
platform
for
Baahubali
2:
The
Conclusion
to
move
forward
smoothly.
On
the
negative
side,
one
can
talk
about
the
pre-climax
portions
and
the
screenplay
towards
the
end.
Yes,
it
could
have
been
better
but
that
doesn't
take
away
anything
from
the
film's
mightiness.
The
dubbing
in
Malayalam
was
good
at
parts
and
at
some
portions
it
paved
way
for
some
unintentional
laughs.
Verdict
There
is
a
belief
that
sequels
can't
outdo
their
prequels.
Baahubali
2:
The
Conclusion
has
proved
that
wrong
and
the
movie
towers
above
everything
like
its
lead
character.
Here
is
a
film,
which
could
be
rightly
termed
as
a
masterpiece.
While
leaving
the
theatre,
one
would
come
out
wanting
a
third
part
for
the
franchise,
for
sure.
