Jomonte
Suvisheshangal
is
the
family
entertainer,
which
stars
Dulquer
Salmaan
in
the
title
role.
The
movie,
which
is
directed
by
Sathyan
Anthikad,
is
scripted
by
Dr
Iqbal
Kuttippuram.
Jomonte
Suvisheshangal
is
produced
by
Full
Moon
Cinema.
Jomon
is
the
youngest
son
of
Vincent,
a
rich,
self-made
businessman.
He
is
a
college
drop-out
and
the
black
sheep
of
his
family.
All
his
siblings
are
highly
educated
and
well-settled.
An
unexpected
incident
turns
Jomon
and
Vincent's
lives
upside
down.
Then
enters
Vaidhehi,
who
helps
Jomon
to
reinvent
his
life.
What
happens
next
forms
the
crux
of
the
story...
Cast
&
Crew
Dulquer
Salmaan
As
Jomon
Dulquer
Salmaan,
who
appears
as
Jomon,
stuns
with
his
spectacular
performance.
Dulquer
is
undoubtedly
growing
as
actor
with
each
of
his
films,
and
it
is
clearly
evident
in
his
performance.
Direction:
Sathyan
Anthikad
Sathyan
Anthikad,
the
senior
director
is
back
to
form.
He
has
done
a
fabulous
job,
by
making
a
heart-warming
movie
experience
out
of
the
well-written
screenplay.
The
director
has
come
out
of
his
usual
style,
by
conveying
a
positive
message
through
the
movie
without
getting
too
moralistic.
Script:
Dr
Iqbal
Kuttippuram
Dr
Iqbal
Kuttippuram's
neatly-written
screenplay
is
the
backbone
of
the
movie.
The
writer
could
have
done
better
with
the
romantic
sequences
in
the
first
half.
But
he
deserves
a
great
applause
for
the
wonderful
second
half
and
climax,
which
makes
the
movie
a
wonderful
experience.
Mukesh
As
Vincent
Mukesh
is
a
revelation
as
Vincent,
Jomon's
loving
father.
He
once
again
proves
that
he
is
one
of
the
most
under-used
talents
of
our
industry,
with
his
fantastic
performance.
The
actor's
exceptional
camaraderie
with
Dulquer
Salmaan
is
truly
praiseworthy.
Aishwarya
Rajesh
As
Vaidhehi
Aishwarya
Rajesh
makes
a
great
debut
as
Vaidhehi,
the
half-Malayali
girl.
Even
though
she
has
very
less
screen
space
in
the
movie,
Aishwarya
brings
a
breath of
fresh
air
into
the
narrative
with
her
impressive
performance.
We
are
eagerly
looking
forward
to
watch
her
in
more
Malayalam
films.
Anupama
Parameshwaran
As
Catherine
Anupama
Parameshwaran,
who
plays
Jomon's
love
interest,
Catherine,
looks
perfect
in
the
role
of
the
rich
Thrissur-based
Christian
girl.
But
the
actress
has
nothing
much
to
do
in
her
insignificant
role.
Cinematography:
S
Kumar
S
Kumar,
the
senior
cinematographer
has
done
a
great
job
by
creating
a
wonderful backdrop
for
the
movie.
The
exceptional
visualisation
of
the
song
sequences
deserve
a
special
mention.
Music:
Vidyasagar
Vidyasagar
makes
a
mark
once
again
with
the
songs,
especially
Nokki
Nokki
and
Neelakasham.
The
musician
has
also
done
a
great
job
with
the
exceptional
background
score,
which
perfectly
goes
hand-in-hand
with
the
plot.
Rafeeq
Ahamed's
lyrics
are
just
beautiful.
The
Supporting
Cast
The
strong
supporting
cast
is
another
plus
factor
of
the
movie.
The
rest
of
the
star
cast,
including
Innocent,
who
plays
Jomon's
uncle,
Muthumani,
Irshad,
Vinu
Mohan
and
Rasna
Pavithran,
who
appear
as
Jomon's
siblings,
former
Miss
Kerala
Indu
Thampi,
Tamil
actor
Manobala
who
plays
Vaidhehi's
father,
Jacob
Gregory,
Irshad
etc.
are
just
perfect
in
their
respective
roles.
Other
Technical
Aspects
K
Rajagopal,
the
editor
has
done
a
good
job
by
making
the
movie
a
neat
and
flawless
watch.
Art
director
Prashanth
Madhav
and
costume
designer
Sameera
Saneesh
have
also
done
their
parts
to
near
perfection.
Verdict
A
great
start
to
the
year
2017.
Jomonte
Suvisheshangal
is
a
perfect
family
entertainer
which
will
fill
you
up
with
positivity.
