Director
-
Tom
Emmatty
Debutant
Tom
Emmatty
has
handled
the
scripting
and
direction
department
of
Oru
Mexican
Aparatha.
It
is
rather
a
confident
debut
by
the
youngster
and
he
has
put
up
a
commendable
job,
both
with
the
pen
and
the
megaphones.
For
a
debut,
he
has
opted
for
a
theme,
which
might
go
down
to
be
a
bit
controversial.
The
director
in
him
has
been
successful
in
taking
the
viewers
to
the
campus,
in
which
the
entire
film
is
set.
He
has
evenly
paced
both
the
halves
of
the
film.
Definitely,
there
is
room
for
improvement,
but
still
the
negatives
are
very
few
in
number.
Tovino
Thomas
As
Paul/Kochanian
Tovino
Thomas
appears
in
two
different
get-ups
in
the
movie
but
it
is
his
version
of
Paul
that
has
the
maximum
space.
The
actor
has
done
complete
justice
to
the
character.
In
the
first
half,
we
get
to
see
the
romantic
and
comical
side
of
Paul
and
coming
to
the
second
half
we
get
to
see
the
leader
in
him
rising.
A
big
pat
on
the
back
for
the
actor
for
convincingly
portraying
all
the
emotions
of
Paul,
to
effect.
Neeraj
Madhav
As
Subhash
Neeraj
Madhav
appears
as
Subhash
and
he
gets
to
play
an
equally
important
role.
As
a
person
who
follows
a
strong
ideology,
Neeraj
was
cent
percent
convincing.
In
fact,
he
gets
to
mouth
some
of
the
fantastic
dialogues
of
the
movie.
It
was
really
refreshing
to
see
him
in
the
role
of
a
matured
character
and
Subhash
is
one
of
the
finest
roles
of
the
actor,
so
far.
Roopesh
Peethambaran
As
Roopesh
Well,
the
actor
in
Roopesh
Peethambaran
has
made
a
real
powerful
comeback.
The
actor
appears
as
Roopesh,
the
college
chairman.
His
character
in
the
film
has
some
negative
shades
and
Roopesh,
without
any
inhibitions
has
done
a
perfect
job.
He
brings
in
that
menacing
nature
of
the
character
on
the
screen
and
that
is
the
real
success
of
the
actor
in
him.
We
definitely
can
expect
more
from
this
actor
in
the
future.
Gayathri
Suresh
As
Anu
Gayathri
Suresh's
Anu
has
very
limited
screen
space
in
the
movie.
Her
character
wasn't
properly
developed
and
we
get
to
see
her
mostly
in
the
first
half
of
the
film.
On
the
performance
side,
the
actress
has
done
an
OK
job.
Kalabhavan
Shajon
As
Shiyas
Kalabhavan
Shajon
appears
as
Shiyas,
one
of
the
leaders
of
a
political
party.
He
has
got
to
play
a
role
with
slight
negative
shades,
which
he
does
with
perfection.
At
the
same
time,
there
are
moments
when
he
tickles
your
funny
bones.
Rest
Of
The
Cast
Apart
from
the
above
mentioned
actors,
the
film
also
features
Sudheer
Karamana,
Sudhi
Koppa,
Hareesh
Perody,
Jaffer
Idukki
etc.,
in
important
roles.
It
was
nice
to
see
Sudheer
Karamana
in
a
matured
role,
after
a
gap.
A
special
mention
to
the
person
who
portrayed
the
role
of
Jomi.
He
was
simply
brilliant
and
kept
the
humour
quotient
up,
each
time
he
appeared
on
screen.
Background
Score
-
Gopi
Sunder
At
present,
there
is
no
other
person
who
could
beat
this
man
in
this
department.
In
Oru
Mexican
Aparatha,
Gopi
Sunder
has
done
an
excellent
job
with
his
background
score,
which
has
helped
to
maintain
the
tempo
of
the
movie
throughout.
