Prasad and Sreeja are a newly married couple who elopes to Kasargode from Vaikom due to some issues. A thief, who also introduces himself as Prasad, steals the couple's only valuable. What happens in the lives of the trio forms the crux of the story.

    Cast & Crew

    Fahadh Faasil As Prasad

Fahadh Faasil once again proves why he has been called as the best actor of his generation. The actor is simply brilliant as the petty thief, who introduces himself as Prakash.

Fahadh scores with his balanced acting skills and million dollar expressions throughout the film and makes the audiences 'feel' his character. It is indeed a pleasure to watch him on screen.

    Direction: Dileesh Pothan

The real star of the movie. Dileesh Pothan strikes yet again with sheer brilliance in film-making. The director shows immense control over the neatly written screenplay and has totally succeeded in bringing out the best from his actors.

Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum stands out with its extremely realistic narration, especially in the police station sequences. Kudos to the director for introducing yet another bunch of immensely talented actors to Malayalam cinema.

    Suraj Venjaramoodu As Prasad

Suraj Venjaramoodu, the National award winner shines with his highly impressive act as Prasad. He delivers a subtle, controlled performance, and truly amazes with the romantic and emotional sequences.

    Nimisha Sajayan As Sreeja

Nimisha Sajayan makes a fantastic debut as Sreeja, the wife of Prasad. The newbie has portrayed the character of the small-town girl to near perfection and looks extremely lovely on screen. Nimisha is here to stay.

    Alencier Ley Lopez As Chandran

Alencier Ley Lopez delivers a stunning act as A.S.I Chandran. His highly natural performance and extreme brilliance in handling light humour are truly praiseworthy.

    Supporting Cast

Vettukili Prakash, who appears as Sreeja's father and Sreekanth Murali deserve a special mention for their notable performances.

A huge round of applause to all the newcomers in the movie, who made a grand debut by playing their respective roles to near perfections.

    Script: Sajeev Pazhoor

Sajeev Pazhoor's strong screenplay is the biggest strength of the film. The light, experimental story has been narrated perfectly with a touch of light humour.

Each and every characters of the movie are written with absolute brilliance, without much exaggerations or cinematic elements. The dialogues are totally sharp and catchy.

Additional Dialogues & Creative Direction: Syam Pushkaran

Maheshinte Prathikaaram writer Syam Pushkaran is the creative director of the movie, and has also associated with writer Sajeev Pazhoor as the additional dialogue writer. The Syam touch is truly visible in the brilliant narrative and dialogues.

Rajeev Ravi, the National award winner makes a mark yet again with his amazing visualisation. The stunning visualisation (the outstanding lighting deserves a special mention) is the major factor which completes the realisticness of the narrative.

    Music: Bijibal

Bijibal, the National award-winning musician once again scores with his soulful background score, without overdoing it. The songs, especially the romantic number Kannile Poika, are highly catchy.

    Other Technical Aspects

Kiran Das, the editor of the movie has done a decent job. While the first half is extremely engaging, the second half falls into slight slow pace. This might not go well with the audiences who just look for pure entertainment.

Jyothish Shankar, the art director and Sameera Saneesh, the costume designer, have done their parts to near perfection.

    Verdict

Yet another absolutely brilliant film by Dileesh Pothan and team. One of the best films of the year so far. Don't miss this one..!!
