Six distinguished actors vie for the coveted Best Actor award in Malayalam. Mammootty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Tovino Thomas, Joju George, and Basil Joseph have each garnered nominations for their stellar performances in films that resonated deeply with audiences.

Mammootty shines with his roles in "Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam," "Kaathal The Core," and "Kannur Squad," while Mohanlal captivated in "Neru." Tovino Thomas impresses with his performance in "2018," alongside Joju George for "Iratta" and Basil Joseph for "Falimy & Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham." Suresh Gopi rounds off the nominations with his portrayal in "Garudan."
