Directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment, this marks the studio's 25th production. Notably, it is Vijay's penultimate film before his anticipated political entry and had its global theatrical release on September 5, 2024.
According to Box Office tracker What The Fuss, Thalapathy Vijay is poised to make a significant impact at the Kerala Box Office with his latest film, The Greatest of All Time (GOAT). The final presales have reached over ₹3.78 crore from 2,164 shows, with an occupancy rate of 39% and more than 2.38 lakh tickets sold. This impressive figure marks the fourth highest pre-sales at Kerala's Box Office since April 2022. It is important to note that this gross includes the fan shows listed online, reflecting the film's strong anticipation and early success.
GOAT Synopsis
Gandhi, a hostage negotiator, field agent, and spy with Chennai's Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS), collaborates closely with RAW. A devoted family man with a wife and son, he confronts new challenges years after his retirement. With his SATS team, consisting of himself and three other members, Gandhi must tackle and rectify the consequences of their past actions.
GOAT Cast And Crew
The cast of The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) features Vijay in dual roles as Gandhi and Jeevan, with Akhil portraying the young Jeevan. Supporting roles include Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal Ameer, Mohan, and Jayaram. Sneha plays Gandhi's wife and Jeevan's mother, while Laila appears as a doctor and Meenakshi Chaudhary as Srinidhi, Jeevan's love interest, whose voice is dubbed by M. M. Manasi. Vaibhav takes on the role of Jeevan's friend, and Premgi Amaren plays Gandhi's brother-in-law and Jeevan's uncle. The ensemble cast also features Yugendran, Parvati Nair, VTV Ganesh, Aravind Akash, Ajay Raj, Komal Sharma, Abyuktha Manikandan, Anjena Kirti, Dileepan, Ganja Karuppu, T. Siva, and Irfan Zaini.
