Turbo Kerala Advance Sales Update: Mammootty's Movie's Pre-sales Ticket Booking Surpasses ₹2.54 Cr

Turbo Advance Booking: "Turbo" is a forthcoming action-comedy movie in Malayalam helmed by Vysakh. The script is crafted by Midhun Manuel Thomas, while production is managed by Mammootty under his production house, Mammootty Kampany.

Mammootty, Raj B. Shetty, and Sunil take on pivotal roles in the movie. Christo Xavier handles the music and background score; Vishnu Sarma oversees cinematography; and editing is under the supervision of Shameer Muhammed. "Turbo" is slated for theatrical release on May 23, 2024.

The reported production cost of "Turbo" amounted to ₹70 crore. Mammootty officially announced the film on October 24, 2023. Principal photography commenced in Coimbatore in October 2023 and wrapped up on February 18, 2024.

According to box office tracker What The Fuss, Turbo Kerala's advance ticket sales are revving up at top speed! Tracked gross revenue has soared past ₹2.54 crore from 1303 tracked shows. When compared to other big releases, Turbo Kerala's pre-sales performance ranks fifth overall. Topping the list is Leo with ₹7.24 crore, followed by Malaikottai Vaaliban at ₹2.89 crore, KGF2 with ₹3.39 crore, King of Kotha at ₹2.63 crore, and Turbo Kerala trailing closely behind at ₹2.52 crore.

Turbo Premise

Turbo Jose, a Jeep driver hailing from Idukki, encounters hardships compelling him to move to Chennai. There, he becomes involved with Indhulekha and her brother Jerry. However, Jose swiftly becomes embroiled in a chain of unexpected incidents, including run-ins with Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram and various others, upon his arrival in Chennai.

The star-studded cast of "Turbo" includes Mammootty as Aruvipurathu Jose, also known as Turbo Jose, a Jeep driver. Raj B. Shetty portrays Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram, an underworld business tycoon, and Sunil plays Auto Billa, Vetrivel's business partner. Anjana Jayaprakash stars as Indhulekha, Jerry's love interest, while Kabir Duhan Singh is Vincent, another business partner of Vetrivel. Bindu Panicker appears as Rosakutty, Jose's teacher, and Janardhanan as Aruvipurath Mathachan, Jose's father. Siddique plays Aruvipurath Joseph, Jose's elder brother, and Shabareesh Varma is Aruvipurath Jerry, Jose's younger brother.
