Turbo OTT Release Date And Platform: When And Where To Watch Mammootty’s Action-Comedy Film Online

Turbo OTT Release: The action-comedy film "Turbo," helmed by Vysakh and written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, was produced by Mammootty's own banner, Mammootty Kampany.

In Turbo, Mammootty, Raj B. Shetty, and Sunil take on key roles. The film features music by Christo Xavier, with cinematography by Vishnu Sarma and editing by Shameer Muhammed.

Principal photography for Turbo started in Coimbatore in October 2023 and wrapped up on February 18, 2024. The film hit theatres on May 23, 2024, and earned over ₹70 crore worldwide at the box office.

Turbo OTT Release Date

The digital streaming rights for Turbo were acquired by the Sony LIV platform. Despite several rumoured release dates following its theatrical run, the movie's OTT debut wasn't confirmed until recently. It is now official that Turbo will be available for streaming starting August 9 on Sony LIV. The platform will offer the original Malayalam version as well as dubbed versions in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada.

Turbo Synopsis

Aruvipurathu Jose, infamously known as "Turbo" Jose, is a jeep driver from Idukki notorious for his frequent brawls. After a trouble-filled incident, he relocates to Chennai, where his life takes a dramatic turn when he encounters Vetrivel Shanmuga Sundaram, a ruthless crime boss embroiled in a major banking scandal.

Turbo Cast

"Turbo" boasts a stellar ensemble cast, with Mammootty leading as Aruvipurathu Jose, known as Turbo Jose. Raj B. Shetty plays Vetrivel Shanmuga Sundaram, a pivotal character, while Sunil portrays Auto Billa. Anjana Jayaprakash stars as Indulekha, and Kabir Duhan Singh takes on the role of Vincent, Vetrivel's business associate. Bindu Panicker appears as Aruvipurathu Rosakutty, Jose's mother, and Shabareesh Varma plays Jerry, Jose's devoted friend.
