Turbo OTT Rights: The action-comedy film "Turbo," directed by Vysakh, is a production of Mammootty's own company, Mammootty Kampany. The screenplay for the film was written by Midhun Manuel Thomas.

In "Turbo," Mammootty, Raj B. Shetty, and Sunil take on major roles. The film's music and background score were composed by Christo Xavier, with Vishnu Sarma overseeing the cinematography and Shameer Muhammed managing the editing. "Turbo" hit theatres on May 23, 2024.

Filming for "Turbo" started in Coimbatore in October 2023 and concluded on February 18, 2024. Reports indicate that the film has achieved remarkable commercial success, with a worldwide gross exceeding ₹70 crore.

Turbo Synopsis

Aruvipurathu Jose, nicknamed "Turbo" Jose, is a jeep driver from Idukki with a reputation for getting into fights. Seeking a fresh start, he relocates to Chennai after finding himself in trouble. However, his new life takes a dramatic turn when he crosses paths with Vetrivel Shanmuga Sundaram, a ruthless and cunning kingpin behind a major banking scam.

"Turbo" boasts a diverse and talented ensemble cast, each bringing depth to their roles. Mammootty stars as Aruvipurathu Jose, known as Turbo Jose, a jeep driver central to the story. Raj B. Shetty takes on the role of Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram, a key figure in the narrative, while Sunil plays Auto Billa. Anjana Jayaprakash appears as Indulekha, with Kabir Duhan Singh as Vincent, Vetrivel's business partner. Bindu Panicker portrays Aruvipurathu Rosakutty, Jose's mother, and Shabareesh Varma features as Jerry, Jose's loyal friend.
