Dhanush Donates ₹25 Lakh To Wayanad Landslide Relief Efforts: In the wake of a devastating landslide disaster in Wayanad, Tamil superstar Dhanush has made a significant contribution to the relief efforts. Following donations from fellow actors Allu Arjun, Prabhas, Chiranjeevi, and Ram Charan, Dhanush has donated ₹25 lakh to the Kerala Chief Minister's Relief Fund to support those affected by the disaster.

Film producer and actor Subramaniam Shiva took to his official X handle to announce the donation, saying, "Our beloved #Dhanush extends support to #Wayanad flood relief. @dhanushkraja has contributed ₹25 lakhs towards flood relief efforts."

Dhanush's 50th Film 'Raayan'

Dhanush's latest film, "Raayan," which he both starred in and directed, has garnered significant acclaim and box office success. The film has nearly reached ₹150 crore in global collections and has earned over ₹80 crore in India. This project, which marks Dhanush's 50th film, features music by the acclaimed A.R. Rahman.

The movie also features notable Malayalam actors such as Aparna Balamurali and Kalidas Jayaram, along with key performances by Sundeep Kishan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Dushara Vijayan. S.J. Surya and Prakash Raj play pivotal roles, with S.J. Surya portraying the antagonist.

Prime Minister Modi Visited Wayanad Landslide Victims and Assessed Damage

On August 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Chooralmala area in Wayanad to assess the damage caused by the landslides, which resulted in over 400 fatalities and numerous injuries. During his visit, the Prime Minister conducted aerial surveys and met with those receiving medical treatment. After holding a high-level meeting with the Chief Minister and other state officials, he departed from the area.
