Get Ready to Witness a Star Gazing Awards Night at the Maharashtracha Favorite Kon 2015!

Dancing divas, larger than-life heroes, emotional speeches and plenty of laughs, the 'Maharashtracha Favourite Kon Awards' had all the ingredients of a Marathi blockbuster. The award that acknowledges and celebrates talent from the eyes of the viewer, the favourite awards ceremony of the audiences and the stars themselves and the most glamorous ceremony in the Marathi entertainment industry - 'Maharashtracha Favourite Kon-2015' celebrated the success of Marathi Cinema and its stars with a bang!

The eventful night saw Ankush Chaudhari's Double Seat bagging the maximum awards in most of the categories. But the main attraction of the night turned out to be Nana Patekar who performed a mesmerizing shadow act with his team that helped the drought affected farmers with their foundation. Zee Talkies who is always known for lending a helping hand for social cause, announced a whoop of Rs5 lakhs to the NAAM Foundation.

Host for the evening Siddharth Chandekar and Vaibbhav Tatwawdi created some rib-tickling moments that left the audience clutching to their sides. The evening was coupled with enthralling performances by the superstars themselves including Ankush Chaudhari, Vaibbhav Tatwawdi, Mukta Barve, Amruta Khanvilkar, Sonalee Kulkarni and Pooja Sawant among others. While these performances brought the house down with their groovy moves, comedy stars Bhau Kadam, Pandharinath Kamble, Sagar Karande, Kushal Badrike, Abhijeet Chavan, Nayan Apte, Hemangi Kavi and Shriya Bugde made the audiences rolling out laughing with their bang on comic timing.
